A diaper raffle only works if guests remember to bring the nappies, and a card in with the invitation is the reminder. This one is 3.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide: “Diaper Raffle” in pink script, the two geese beneath with the balloon, and the invitation line “Please bring a pack of diapers for your chance to win a prize”, followed by a dotted line for the guest’s name. Pale pink gingham, pink bows in the corners, white daisies and green sprigs.

What you get

  • One 3.5×5 inch insert card template
  • Two print layouts: four to an A4 or Letter page, or one card per page for a print shop
  • Save as JPEG or PDF
  • A file, not a stack of cards — nothing is posted

How the raffle runs

Print one card for every guest, tuck it in with the invitation, and ask the host to collect the name lines as guests arrive — the dotted line is there for each guest to write their own name, so the card doubles as the entry ticket. Draw one at cake time.

Four to a sheet means thirty invitations is eight sheets, front only. Print on ordinary 160–200 gsm card: these get handled, folded into a bag and handed back, so a light card creases rather than cracks.

How editing works

You will edit this in CORJL, an online template editor that opens in a browser tab — not Canva, and there is nothing to install or download onto your computer. Buying the card triggers a CORJL email with the access link, sent to the address on the order; give it a few minutes, and if it is missing check spam, then contact us if it still has not arrived so we can send it again. You will need a free CORJL login; the card itself is quicker to finish on a laptop than on a phone.

Your editing window is 90 days. Save the PDF and JPEG before the window closes: once 90 days have passed the link will not open the template, though the files you saved keep working indefinitely.

All the writing is yours to change — the heading, the request, the prize line, and any extra note. Locked: the pair of geese and their balloon, the corner bows, the daisies, the gingham field, the card’s shape and its 3.5×5 size.

Not included

No printed cards, no envelopes, no prize and no editing service. The personalising is done by you in CORJL.

Print it for your own shower and keep the file private: personal use, with no resale and no handing it to another host.

What can be edited

  • All text fields are editable.
  • Artwork, template size and orientation cannot be changed.
  • Files/templates are sold as seen. You are responsible for editing the template yourself.

Posting these out? The bundle puts the invitation, this raffle card and a books-for-baby card in one purchase.

Does it say “diaper” or “nappy”?

The template says “diaper”, as the sample shows. The heading and the request line are editable, so an Australian or UK host can type “Nappy Raffle” and “pack of nappies” in its place.

What size envelope does it need?

None, if it travels inside the invitation. Posted on its own, a 3.5×5 card needs a small 3.5×5 or 4×6 envelope — check the opening of whatever you already have before buying a box.

Can two guests share one card?

There is one dotted name line, so one card per guest is cleaner. If you want a line for a couple, the multi-up layout means extra cards cost a few sheets of card, not money.

Will the prize line fit my raffle?

“Win a prize” is generic on purpose and can stay as it is, or you can name the prize — a hamper, a voucher, the nappy cake. Keep it short so the card stays balanced.

Can I print it in black and white?

You can, but the design leans on pale pinks and soft greens, and a mono printer will flatten the gingham into grey. If black and white is the only option, print at a copy shop instead.

Does it fit in the envelope with the invitation?

Yes. Slip it in behind the invitation and it travels for the same postage. If you are posting twenty or more, that is cheaper than sending the raffle cards separately.

Should the cards be numbered?

Not necessary, because the name does the work. If you want a draw with no chance of a double entry, tear a corner off each card as it goes into the basket and keep the stubs.
