How editing works

Almost every design here is an editable template rather than a finished file. You get a link, you change the wording yourself, you download the finished design, and you print it. There is nothing to install and no design software to buy.

What happens after you order

  • You receive an email with your link, sent to the address you used at checkout. Please check your spam folder first if it seems slow to arrive.
  • An editable template opens in your web browser. Most of our editable designs use Corjl; a few of the newer ones use Canva. Each product page lists what you receive for that design — if the editing method is not mentioned and it matters to you, message us before you order.
  • If the email has not arrived, or the link is not working, message us from the contact page and we will resend it.

Editing in Corjl

Open the link in any browser — on a laptop, tablet or phone — and change the text. Names, dates, times, venues, RSVP details, the wording on a sign, the message on a tag: all of that is yours.

When it looks right, download it as a JPEG or a PDF. Both are 300 DPI, which is the resolution a print shop expects for a sharp card or sign.

Editing in Canva

A few designs use Canva instead. You open the link and copy the design into your own Canva account, then edit it there. Because the copy lives in your account, it does not expire.

How long you have access

Editable templates stay open for 90 days from your order. If you need to come back to it after that — a date change, a reprint, a second party — just message us. We regularly extend access when asked.

What cannot be changed

The artwork, the design's colours, the template size and its orientation are fixed. That is deliberate: it is what keeps the printed result looking like the photos on the product page.

The sizes supplied for each design are listed on its product page. If a size you need is not listed, ask us before ordering rather than assuming the design will scale.

Some designs are ready-made files, not templates

A number of designs are sold as finished files that you print as they are. Where that is the case, the product page says so plainly — look for “not editable” or “sold as is”. You will not be able to change the wording on those, and the price reflects it.

The licence

Templates and files are for personal use: print as many copies as your own event needs. They are not for resale, and the artwork is not to be reused in something you sell.

Still unsure whether a particular design does what you need? Ask us before you buy — a question is cheaper than a refund.
