Silly Goose Chocolate Wrapper, Two Bar Sizes, 40g & 1.55oz

A chocolate bar with the birthday on it is the favour that gets eaten rather than taken home and thrown out. This wrapper is pink gingham with a cream label panel in the middle, a goose in a pink cone hat beside its balloon, and pink bows at the corners with daisies and green sprigs. The sample reads “Georgina’s 1ST BIRTHDAY” in a script and a serif pairing; both lines are yours to rewrite.

Which bar to buy

The two templates exist because the two bars are different shapes: the Aldi Choceur is a short, chunky 40 g block, and the Hershey’s bar is longer and flatter at 1.55 oz. Print at 100% — not “fit to page” — or the wrapper will come out a few millimetres off and crease at the folds.

Hershey’s and Choceur are named only so you can match the wrapper to the bar you already buy; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by either brand.

Wrapping takes about a minute a bar: leave the chocolate in its foil, lay the printed wrapper face down, centre the bar and fold the long edges over, then fold the short ends and tape or glue them down. If you would rather have a clean back, peel the original paper off first and wrap the bare foil.

How editing works

Personalise it in CORJL, which runs in your browser and needs nothing installed. CORJL sends the access link to the email address on the order as soon as the purchase completes. Should the email not arrive within a few minutes, check spam, then ask us and we will resend the link. From that link you make a free CORJL account and edit on a laptop or desktop — two short lines are quick to set, but a phone keyboard makes the script line fiddly.

Editing access lasts 90 days. Get the JPEG or PDF out before the window closes: the link gives up on the template at 90 days, while the file you saved prints on demand.

Both lines of text change — the name in script and the occasion in serif, and any small extra line you add. The goose, party hat, balloon, bows, daisies, sprigs, gingham and both bar sizes are fixed, and each template stays the shape of the bar it was drawn for.

No chocolate, no foil, no tape, and no assembly service — the wrapper is a file.

Personal use only for your own celebration, so please do not resell the wrappers or the bars you make with them.

What can be edited

• Files/templates are sold as seen. You are responsible for editing the template yourself.

Will it fit a different chocolate bar?

Only these two, properly. Other bars are a different length and depth, and the wrapper is drawn to the bar — a Cadbury Dairy Milk, for instance, is a different footprint and would need a template of its own.

Can I print several wrappers on one sheet?

Yes, the multi-label layout is there for it. Card stock around 120–160 gsm folds neatly over the foil; thicker card is stiff at the ends and will not sit flat against the chocolate.

Do I need to remove the original wrapper?

No, it can go straight over the top. Removing it first gives a cleaner finish on the back, which matters if the bars are going in a bowl where both sides show.

Can I add a thank-you line?

Yes, there is room for a short line under the occasion. Keep it to a few words — the label panel is small and long text crowds the goose.

Is this a good favour for a baby shower too?

The same wrapper exists with a baby shower design. This one says birthday, so the wording suits a first birthday rather than a shower, although the palette is the same.

How far ahead can I wrap the bars?

A week is fine if they stay somewhere cool. Chocolate takes on the smell of a warm room, and a wrapper creases if it goes in the fridge, so wrap a few days out and store them in a cupboard.

Will it fit a smaller bar for children?

The Hershey’s template is already the smaller footprint, so a fun-size bar will not fill it. Print one test sheet and check the fold lines against the bar before committing to a whole bag.
